I have just tried with the same problem, in this case there is an issue with the link between the pdf and the book. This is usually caused by the pdf not being properly registered by the tkinter library.
As a workaround, here is a function to solve your problem. It copies the pdf in a local directory, gets the filename from the object and then renames it. It uses the standard Python copy module to make sure that if the user moves the file it won't cause problems.
